It Starts With You and Your Garden
1. Site Analysis & Brief
A personal consultation to understand your needs, style and the character of your garden.
From this, we develop a clear, tailored brief shaped by your vision and guided by our expertise. This draws on detailed site assessment and Cumbria’s unique environmental conditions to inform initial design thinking.
2. Conceptual Plans
Visual ideas that bring the design direction to life, including mood imagery, layout sketches and early concepts.
Designs consider proportion, flow, colour, texture and seasonal interest, exploring layouts and materials and, where appropriate, preparing detailed plans or 3D visualisations for review and feedback.
3. Technical Drawings & Working Plans
Once the design is approved, we progress to detailed construction drawings, lighting plans and supporting technical information, ready for use by your chosen landscaper.
4. Planting Design & Maintenance
Planting plans, schedules and maintenance guidance are central to KG Garden Design.
These are carefully considered to ensure longevity, structure and year-round interest, supporting the ongoing health and beauty of your garden for years to come.
